Teen loves it; takes parental energy to maintain
Beautiful and easy to assemble Besides the grief of assembly that we signed up for when making the purchase, the most frustrating part of assembly was missing hardware. The company didnt argue that we had it and lost it or whatever they could argue. They apologized and mailed the hardware we were missing. Interesting that I signed on to make my teens bed after buying this set up because the mattress fits tight in its nest and he cannot get the mattress corners out to hook the fitted sheet. If he kneels back from the corner, he cant lift the corner up to hook the fitted sheet. If he stands on the ground, he cant push the mattress up with one hand and hook the fitted sheet with the other because the mattress is too heavy and hes not 62 yet. So I get to make the bed every weekend now. It your teen has a ceiling fan and the room is smaller than 12 x 12, beware. While the dimensions of the assembled full bed is smaller, a 42 ceiling fan cuts close to teen body parts. Btw, he loves the bed because his desk, gaming chair and futon fit nicely and Dad makes his bed

Some of parts are not labeled which slows assembly process.
Comfortable, and looks nice too. There are 20 pages of assembly instructions for this bunk, BUT some of the parts are not labeled, so it was a slow assembly figuring things out. Otherwise its an awesome loft bed.

Overall very happy with my purchase! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I searched and searched for a Ned like this for my 11 year old son. Its absolutely perfect! Its sturdy with draws and storage areas and his entire gaming setup fits perfectly under his bed, its like a gaming cave! We couldnt be more pleased!
Nice Bed but In a lot of pices
great for the low price I love this bed and it is worth it 100% if you need to save space. The stars are wide and very sturdy like the bed. It is hard to put together and it is a 3-4 person job for sure. But my dad was very happy with all the hard wear that came with it and is very happy with the bed. Also you have to pay attention to the instructions, they are kind of confusing and some steps have a lot to them.
Amazing craftsmanship!
Easy to assemble, light smell Solid wood, no cheap flimsy pieces in this piece!! Box was damaged upon delivery but all pieces were well packaged and in perfect condition! This bed is so well built that I can have slumber parties on it with my daughter and the bed feels solid and isnt the least bit creaky. The sides where the mattress sits isnt very tall so we put up bed rails just to make me feel more comfortable. Very happy with our purchase!
An adventure...
Appropriate for the price We bought this bed for our daughter, so she would have more room to play in her bedroom. We loved that it has stairs, and we would not have to worry about her climbing up and down a ladder. So I said goodbye to $1100 and ordered this bed. Then the adventure began. This bed is shipped via Fed Ex, and until this shipment, Id never had a problem with Fed Ex. The bed comes packaged into 3 boxes - 2 for the bed and 1 for the stairs. The boxes are far to heavy for your average person to safely handle on his/her own. Thank god the boxes were doubly wrapped because the outer wrapping was fairly destroyed in transit. All 3 boxes were shipped from Canada to North Carolina at the exact same time. We received the 2 bed boxes at the same time. Building the bed was rather difficult as the red stamped labels on the ends of the pieces were not all correct. A few different versions were miss-stamped. The directions are just pictures with numbers - no wording. After putting the wood from the 2 boxes together, we realized we were missing a 3rd box for the stairs. Anxiously we awaited for the 3rd box. Every morning and evening I would check Fed Exs tracking site, and every time I was met with disappoint. The website, nor Fed Exs customer service could tell me what happened with the 3rd box. After 8 days, I magically appeared in Tennessee. Upon entering a main warehouse in NC, Fed Ex shipped the box an hour west and AWAY from us. The next day, it was shipped 45 SOUTH of us - literally passing our town! The next it was delivered. This box was torn up worse than the other 2 boxes. Again it was far to heavy for what 1 box should have been. Two pieces were broken thanks to virtually no packing material and rough handling. Other pieces were scratched or dented as well. Thankfully, my woodworking husband saved the day, and managed to repair the 2 pieces. I set to building the stairs. The screws were mislabeled for what we needed to put where. Some of the wood pieces were again miss-stamped. We have had the bed for a little over a month now (minus a week for the stairs) and so far the only complaint I have is the difficulty of changing the sheets. I realize this company is not at fault for Fed Ex losing our box and then shipping it to other random cities after it was found, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I did take off 1 star due to: the bad and too heavy of packaging, resulting in damaged pieces; as well as, miss-stamped/mislabeled pieces and hardware.

Great quality for the price. This was one of the few loft beds that had all the attributes I was looking for. Had an issue with the shipping (hence 4 stars) but was great at responding and taking care of the situation! Many thanks to them!
