Good table, assembly not so easy. Darn Allen Screws!!
It came and was as described on the product page. Mostly, assembly was like, except when completing the final hex (Allen) bolts to secure the top to the leg assembly. The tool, an Allen wrench, provided was barely adequate to the task. Why not use a flat screw or, God help us, a Philipps head? Banging knuckles tightening those darn Allen screws is not what I had in mind for a Sunday afternoon. Its still a great table...now we have two, one for me and now, one for my Momz.
Small but perfectly expandable multipurpose table.
Exactly what we wanted for our small living room space. We can eat supper on the couch while watching the news together. And its not a huge as the similar unit we had at our larger house years ago (also a lift-top coffee table). The color matches our new furniture, too.
Nice looking table, fairly sturdy, very useful
I have always loved the concept of coffee tables that pull up to eating trays... this is the first one Ive had, and I am pleased with it. This took, for the most part, 20 minutes to assemble (directions were not that bad), but another 20 minutes to get two awkward-located screws in. One reviewer has described the table as made of primarily veneered plywood with some hardboard components. That sounds about right. But all in all, really like the table.
Great sturdy product with slight damage already
Came with a huge chip on the side of a panel and I didnt notice this until the entire thing was assembled. Most of the directions are straightforward but the final instruction on connecting the main lift part requires you to screw in two inch screws with a series of quarter turns (the tool cant turn anymore before hitting an edge). Seems like a huge oversight and literally took more time screwing them in than the whole rest of the setup combined.

For an Basic item, i was pleasantly surprised. For assembly, each piece was clearly labeled, the assembly instructions were clear, and the hardware was also nicely packaged. The first 3 steps were easy to assemble for 1 person. However, I agree with other reviews that difficulty arrives when having to attach the table top portion to the leg assembly. At this point, assembly is best with 2 people. The most time consuming challenge was screwing in the 4 final bolts inside the tables storage compartment with the supplied Allen key. At this point, you need much patience. Once assembled, this is a nice piece of Basic furniture. When you lift the top, it locks in place. To lower the top, you need to pull out the locking pin inside the storage compartment. It was well worth the effort to assemble. However, I am subtracting 1 star because of my disappointment with the delivery. They dumped the item in my driveway and never bothered to at least ring the doorbell to notify me of the delivery. If I hadnt checked delivery status online, then I would never have known that it was sitting in my driveway!! I dont know what is going on with delivery lately! Then online delivery status claims left inside the residences mailbox which I clearly dont understand!?!
Great table perfect size
We love this table. I read the reviews and hoped it would not come damaged. It did not. We have had it for a week now and love it. It was easy to put together except for the last four screws . The Allen wrench they give you does not turn very well because it hits against the side of the table. So it takes longer because you can only do half turns . But other than that its great I love how it locks to keep it the lift top locked in place we like to eat dinner and watch tv and it is very sturdy . And then you just pull the knob out on the left side of the hinge and lower the top back down. I like the storage space too. Alot of tables I looked at only had alittle space on each side with open space in the middle. I love the color, the espresso goes great with our furniture. For the price we could not be happier.

Awesome Value!
I have to admit, given the low price, I was a little skeptical about this coffee table. But all of the reviews were really positive, so I went for it. And I couldnt be happier! Some people reported getting the wrong color, but they either fixed that issue or I got lucky because I got the color I ordered. It is the perfect size, has SO much storage capacity, and the lift-top is so easy and smooth. I love it!
Sturdy functional table!
I was a bit worried to order a coffee table online, but we couldnt be happier. This is actually a really stable table and we love the lift feature. Would definitely buy again. Have had for over a month now!
Just what I needed
I am a young professional just starting out and this is a great starter coffee table. Its not fancy but its solid, neat, clean, and has that secret storage compartment. Assembly was very easy except for two bolts which were so close to the corner it was hard to turn the wrench. The whole thing took me maybe 20 minutes to put together.
