This is a VERY nice bench! It was surprisingly sturdy and well assembled/built. It was very well packaged and no damage to the product upon delivery. The first thing I noticed was the color. It was a bit more on the whitish side than I was expecting. Depending on your paint color, it could look washed out.
As for the baskets, they are nice. They arent rigid like a wicker basket you would get at Target. They have a bit of flex to them but I like this looks like it was handmade by some faire market seller.
The cushion is removable. It looks really plain though so, as another review suggested, I will be recovering it with something more vibrant. Since this will be used as a reading bench in my daughters room, Im considering adding some padding to the cushion for long-term sitting.
Overall, worth every penny, especially since it was preassembled.
