Spend more, and go for another brand that isnt so flimsy.
I had to use 2x4 to reinforce the entire bed.
This bed feels like its made out balsa wood.
My 6 year old 50 lb daughter snapped the support wood within seconds of getting onto the bed. Looks nice but requires trips to the hardware store and extra time engineering solutions to all of the issues. Good but not what I expected
