I needed a second place to sleep in a one bedroom apartment. We use it every night, and I feared that at this price itd be too flimsy/ugly to hold up and blend in.
I expect this will last for years. A sturdy steel frame and innersprings in each of the three cushions (I expected just some foam) will last longer than the one bedroom apartment!
The way it works is the top center cushion folds up and the two end cushions fold out from inside the frame. One adjusts upwards to create the seat back for the lounge chair (or raised head for the bed, very nice) and the others leg folds down to form the footrest for the lounge. Frankly, it looks silly to me but if you really need that kind of furniture, itd certainly work.
Converting from ottoman to bed takes seconds.
Id give the ottoman a solid five stars if I didnt need a mattress pad on it and if the fabric panels covering the hidden cushions inside the frame were a bit thicker/easier to use to hide the frame.
