I purchased this desk but unfortunately one of the pieces that make up the small shelves came manufactured improperly. I reached out to the customer service reps through the manufacturers website (I believe they are in China or somewhere in Asia) and explained the situation. They were very helpful and respectful and sent me the exact replacement piece in the mail a few weeks later. I loved the desk, its sturdy, easy to build and makes a great addition to my office room
