Very sturdy and heavy furniture. Im ment to be home to help unload but it got here sooner than expected. The delivery guy backed up in my driveway to get it out by the house. I felt bad that sucker was heavy. Anyway its my second favorite piece of furniture in the house. I got it on a massive sale right before xmas. My husband put it together but I could have it was so easy to put together. Good quality wood, just dont put anything hot straight from the oven on it of course. Had to remind teenagers a couple of times. Not sorry I got it. It really ties the room togetherlol
