The item came in three boxes. All boxes were well padded and no damage to the product. The entire top (including drawers) comes pre/assembled. It took my wife and I less than an hour to assemble. Once assembled it is very solid and sturdy. Would have given 5 stars, but one of the doors catches on the top and is difficult to open. Otherwise, this is a very nice product.
