    Great Customer Service from GDF Studio!

    Update to my earlier review. The second customer service representative who I spoke with gave me the name and contact phone number of the recliner vendor (GDF Studio). The GDF Studio customer service representative was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. After listening to my description of the problem, he determined that the recliner base unit needed to be replaced. I received the replacement base unit by UPS in six days (in Honolulu, Hawaii). The recliner works really well. One comment on the outstanding GDF Studio customer service. After the customer service representative got my email address, he sent me a test email while I was still on the phone call to be sure that our email connection was correct, and to be sure that I had his email address if I had to contact him for any reason. The recliner worked really well, and fit in our master bedroom. However, after six weeks something went wrong such that the footrest is no longer connected to the seat back, and the seat back cannot be put in the upright position. I spoke with an customer service rep, but she could not help nor direct me to a vendor to try to fix the problem. The customer service rep also advised me that the recliner did not have a warranty.
