If youre on the fence about whether or not to get this electric fireplace heater...take the plunge and just get it. I researched these for a while and eventually decided to take a chance on the 23. Definitely worth every penny. I needed a heat source for a finished attic that I converted into a home office. The space is roughly 800 square feet, with no other heat source. This little guy brought the temperature in there from 66 degrees to 72 degrees in less than than an hour. Auto shut off is great..and the fact that you can keep the flame lights on for effect when its not heating is a nice touch. DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY.
It is small...so if youre expecting a centerpiece kind of item, this isnt it. Its a cute little unit. The flames look really good, but the wood at the bottom, not so much. If realism is a big factor in your decision, Id say go elsewhere, but seriously, for a heating unit for a small to medium room...this is the way to go.
Putting the legs on isnt as much trouble as everyone makes it out to seem. Yes, you have to screw in 16 screws...its not that bad. Get this unit and enjoy it for what it is...a great heater with a nice fireplace light.
