Sturdy looks the same as in photos great price This bed is great. Holds both my daughter and either my husband or I with no problem (were both 230lbs ) Great area underneath for storage or making a cozy area to play in.
Only downfall is ladder keeps coming loose and wobbly but otherwise no other issue.
