I was pretty much expecting a hard cushion with this and already had 2 layers of memory foam on standby to lay on top, but you do NOT want to sit or lay on this for long without some added cushion. Other than that, this is absolutely PERFECT for my space, I wanted a chaise lounge that could also serve as a stretch/strength mat so I wouldnt have to exercise on the floor anymore, and also serve as an extra chair if I need one, and this just does EVERYTHING. The feet do fold either at a slant OR you can hide the feet under and just display 2 sections instead of 3. Very nice.
