Sturdy, very pretty, easy to assemble. I use it as-is, no color coating or painting, I do not think it needs more sanding like other reviewers do. It looks beautiful in its natural color. I am a moron when it comes to assembling furniture and in this case the instructions were clear and the pieces fit perfectly. I did not put any piece upside-down. One person may assemble this. I am super happy with my purchase and strongly recommend the folks at Frames. You can tell they care about their craft.
