The trick is to not tighten all the screws as you go. You have to leave them all loose until all the legs are affixed then go around and tighten them one at a time! If you tighten it as you apply the legs it will not hold the bottom base and you will have to wrestle with it and youll lose. They dont tell you that in the instructions which are just pictures. Completely piss poor execution on the instructions.
