I have been sitting in this chair pretty extensively for the past week.
Assembly was much easier than I expected it to be. There are just four pieces. They slide together in seconds. No tools required.
The fabric and padding and stitching all seem to be good quality, though its hard to really judge these things in such a short amount of time.
I find the chair to be pretty comfortable in the non/reclined position. It has a pleasant, smooth rocking motion. No squeaking or anything like that.
My biggest complaint is that the back seems shorter than on other recliners that I have used. When fully reclined I find my head rests on the very top of the chair back. This is comfortable enough if I want to take a nap, but if I want to keep my eyes on a TV or computer screen while in this position I have to lift my head a few inches off the chair back. That amount of effort is really the opposite of what Im looking for in a recliner! Im not a super tall person either (511). Someone well below average height might not have this problem with the chair.
Another problem is that you really need to kick the footrest pretty hard to get it to stay locked in the down position. I usually need two or three tries to get it right.
Overall I dont hate this chair. When not fully reclined it definitely gets the job done. There are a couple of annoying points I discussed above that would probably make me try a different model next time if I wanted another recliner. Ok ok
