I bought the desk for my basement, home studio. This product is very well made for the price and also, irrelevant of price. Double boxed for shipment. Outer box was torn when delivered but inner was immaculate. Shipped in two separate boxes. A smaller one and a large, heavy one. This desk has some serious heft to it. Picture instructions only, but the pictures are very accurate. I had no problems following them. I studied all of the steps first which is a good idea. The desk is very accurately machined for assembly. Everything lined up exactly the way it should. The hardware bag was awesome - everything labeled and in line with the instructions. No flaws or missing parts. The surface on the desk seems tough. It is a raised “grain” surface so a mouse pad would be ideal although I haven’t gotten one yet, but the mouse works fine. To hand write on this desk would require a flat surface of some type. It’s like a resinous coating with a lightly grooved texture. The grain pattern is beautiful. Functionality based on its layout is really good. Holds 4 single rack units on each side under the speaker shelves. Rack rails and bolts/rubber washers are included. Rolls easily on 5 rotating wheels. The two front wheels are locking. The keyboard shelf holds my Yamaha MX61 with about .5 inch of open space on each side and about 2” of space above. In other words, it fits like a glove. I briefly thought about buying something less expensive and I’m glad I didn’t. The company is called and the coyote/roadrunner came to mind. Believe me, this company rocks and I’m never looking back on the purchase. You will be pleased assuming shipping, manufacturing, parts etc. are as good for you as they were for me. I cannot see why they wouldn’t be. The company seems to have their act together with quality control. It’s bigger than it looks in my pictures. Pretty much 6’ wide and pretty deep as well. Super pleased!
No Brainer!!! Perfect upgrade for me!!!
