Very easy to assemble, however I got confused with a couple of pictures simply because I didnt pay close enough attention to the direction of some of the bars. ONLY pictures for the instructions. We wanted to use the shelf in the center for our TV so I drilled holes (quite easily) and moved it over. Feels heavy and sturdy! For the price paid, exactly what we wanted!
