    Assembly instructions and conditions SUCK!!!

Very Sturdy product. First and most important, the assembly instructions suck. I am pretty a good handyman type also with a Masters degree, so it isnt me. The four corner legs have a centered screw in bolt stud that someone decided they would paint black. Trying to get these screwed in will be good exercise for you. You will have forearms the size of the cartoon character, Popeye, after you are finished in a few days! The aforementioned bolt studs are metric 10mm x 1.5 thread. I decided to bypass the long term twisting and untwisting exercise and drill out the 10mm threaded holes in the bed frame with a 7/16 bit. I then bought 10mm x 1.5 nuts at Lowes as well as 7/16 split lock washers. Drop each leg bolt/stud through the newly drilled out hole and attached the lock washer and 10mm nuts bought from Lowes. Tighten with an adjustable wrench (unless you have a 10 mm open end lying around). That works very well, and will save you a lot of WORK.. I could be wrong about one thing. I assumed the reason the bolts studs would not thread into the pre/threaded holes as intended was due to the bolt studs being painted black. It could also be that the manufacturer cut the wrong thread into the bed frame plate that receives the bolt/stud. In the end, It doesnt really matter. Either way, my fix that I outline above will settle it. Also, good luck on figuring out how to attach the electrical boxes. I think I have decided to just use some zip ties since I happen to have some. This is probably a fine product with really lousy assembly instructions and conditions that have not been thought through. I will let you know when I get done. In the meantime, I have a pair of really great looking forearms now! (EDIT) Now that I employed the above fix and I have used it for more than a week, this adjustable bed frame is nice!
