I ordered this for a multi purpose spare room. The height is standard, the only reason it makes it feel a little low is because it does not have your regular 4 inch couch cushions, thats not a negative its just a futon! Im very pleased with the purchase. I may not have someone sleep on it without a foam cushion, but its great just for watching TV or just setting. Im pleased with my purchase and I love the gray . One of my best buys.
