I got this for my middle school media center where I work. Weve been wanting to revamp the seating area for some time but we are a very, very poor school (76% free and reduced lunch). Many businesses in our area support the local private school so were kind of forgotten about.
This was easily put together. The custodian did it within fifteen minutes. Three minutes after that, two 6th graders were lounging like it was happy hour at the local biker bar. That afternoon, a 7th grader sneaked a bottle of Gatorade in and promptly spilled on it. But it cleaned up completely, no stickiness or staining. One of our self-contained kids (moderate intellectually disabled) started jumping on it and no breakage whatsoever.
So when I say this is durable, believe me, its durable. Once the newness of the couch wore off, the kids settled down and treated it better. Its not over the top comfortable but thats okay. We dont want any students falling asleep.
