Weve been using these chairs for a little over a month. Overall we really like them, but they were a major pain to put together.
1) The length of the bolts makes putting these together with the provided Allen wrench exhausting. I used my drill with an Allen bit after finishing the first chair.
2) The holes in the seat do not line up well with the back of the chair. On 2 of the 4 chairs I had to grind away part of the wood at an angle to eventually get the bolt to catch.
3) One of the seats was not drilled properly. There was no way to pass two of the bolts through the seat and into the chair back. I have a drill so I was able to fix it, but thats a pretty big QC/manufacturing error.
Once you manage to get the chairs together, theyre pretty nice. BUT, if youre not handy or dont have a lot of tools at home, you may not be able to assemble them.
Inconsistent manufacturing
