This is truly is a beautiful desk once it is put together, and it actually exceeded my expectations with how useful and pretty it is. However, putting this together was one of the most aggravating things I have ever put together. The instructions werent bad or complicated to follow, but good instructions only work if the pieces are measured to the correct length and include what they are supposed to. The very top bar (the piece labeled O) was, just ever so slightly, cut to long, which made the bolt not long enough to thread into the piece. I spent an absurd amount of time trying to make this bolt thread into this piece until I finally figured out that it was not the correct length. Never did get that piece attached.
The next issue was with the main surface part of the desk (piece labeled A). Once you get to assembling pieces to A the desk is almost complete. There are supposed to be these threaded nut like things that are recessed into the desk so that you can bolt the support legs to it. Well, it was missing the front left one, so that leg is not secured properly. By this point, I was to far along to even consider taking it back apart to return, so I gorilla glued it.
I do have to give credit, and state that this desk is impressively sturdy, and it works perfectly for what I bought it for. Would I go through putting it together again, no.
