Quality; very comfortable sleeping or sitting; slow, smooth and quiet recline and decline
This power recliner is for an elderly woman with knee, foot and shoulder osteoarthritis.
It isnt as plush as her old recliner but it is more comfortable! She loves it. She sleeps much better than on her old plush recliner and wakes up without aches and pains. We bought a UPS power backup in case of a power failure.
The bottom part is heavy, about 80 pounds, and it was an effort for me, being 75, to put it together but, all in all, it wasnt too bad. The instructions say to not cut the first, of two, nylon ties, that are holding extra wiring under the seat, but in order for us to have the control stretch easily to the left side, we had to cut both ties and then re/tie the wires, allowing for a longer wire to the control. That said. We love this power recliner!
Update June 9, 2020: Purchased a second Electric Power Lift Recliner so we could each have our own! Now to find out if the recliner mechanism will pass the test of time!
Update August 19, 2020: Wife had reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Thank God for this chair! While she continues to recover, she frequently has to rely on this chair to enable her to recline and un/recline. Works smooth and great!
