I needed a stitching chair for working on all my needlework projects. I am 5 foot petite woman and this chair fits me!!!! I can sit comfortably with the chair back curving where my body curves. If I have slippers or shoes my feet fit flat on the floor, which never happens when you are small. The foot stool is slightly lower than the chair and again comfortable for me. I got the turquoise and it is a beautiful color with very soft fabric. I have to note that in the assembly one hole was slightly out of sync but my daughter was still able to assemble with in minutes. If you are a petite person this is the chair for you. BTW it came over a week early.
