I ordered two of these for our 7 year old girls. They love it! They have an upstairs bedroom and this low loft was the perfect height for the slanted ceiling. Assembly was a breeze with two of us. Got both lofts put together in a few hrs. It also gives you the option and instructions for the steps being on either side you choose. Very well built
