Assembled myself in one daydirections were very easy to follow. Bed is extremely sturdy and the set up is perfect! We also were able to fit a queen size mattress underneath the loft bed by moving the ladder to the same side as the book shelf. Very happy with this purchase! My Nephew likes it,
