I have put a lot of furniture together in my years. this was tough. I did it by myself and it took 6 hours. The WORST was the slats at either end of the bed. I almost returned the bed because of that. They would not stay in place. That alone added 2 hours to my time. There are not enough slats for the mattress either. I may add more myself. It says holds up to 400 lbs, but I seriously question that. Super small!
