Great with modifications/Don't buy the used option
I purchased two and I went with the used condition. They both came super scuffed on the arms where they rubbed the box during shipping. (Being used the original packaging wrap was missing). only offered a return option, no further discounts. I decided to just keep them because I was thinking about refinishing them in a lighter color wood anyway. But I think they should have been discounted based on the damage. Anyway
I felt like these sat a bit too low in the back, so I decided to used 1 inch nylon spacers to lift the back. It worked and I think these are a perfect height now. If you decide to do this, make sure you aren't lifting the back up too high or you won't hit the wood with the screws. As far as comfort, these are a bit stiff but I think they will soften over time.
