We bought this for our new puppy, we figured it would be a good choice to keep his bowls together and from sliding all over the floor. Another added bonus is, he cant tip them over. I just woulod slide the bowls out and wash them up after he was done eating. He is a black lab and a super fast eater, so we had to switch and get him a puzzle bowl, however, I now keep this in the storage compartment in my Traverse hatch that way if we are ever anywhere he has a his dishes with us I strongly recommend them.
