Seems to work just fine. Its sturdy and not unduly attractive. For most people this will work just fine. One warning, though: this one does not have adjustable rotation schedules. For most watches this wont be a problem, but its my understanding that some watches are finicky about which direction theyre rotated in and some require unusually frequent rotation, and if you happen to have any such watches you might want to look for a substitute which will allow you choice of rotation direction and frequency. My only other complaint is that I wish the lid had a handle. Probably Ill dig out my power drill and add one. But on the whole this appears to be a great winder and good value for the money. Good quality.
