Very sturdy and strong. Bought it for 2 teenagers and they love them. Work really well in a tiny room. Just wish you could move the ladder. One of my teens is at risk of be decapited by her ceiling fan whenever she goes to get down. But it keeps her sharp so im cool with it. Love this and recommend it. Did not disappoint
