We bought this for its high satisfaction rating and weight rating by manufacturer. Its heavy for sure. Slats and ladder are sturdy. It took my husband 2 days to get it assembled and hes a VERY handy guy. If you dont have someone VERY handy to put this together, dont buy it. The grandkids loved it and it was very comfortable.
The trundle bed wheels are total garbage. One sleepover and one of the wheels is broken already. One night! The trundle was only out to sleep on and then I tried to roll it back under and it was broken. Disappointing. Needs improvement in quality.
