Got the couch and UPS dropped it off at our door in 1 box the weighed 118lbs. Good thing is the box measures 29 inches but cleared our 29.5 inch door just barely but we got it in this old farm house with our small old doors.
Putting it together wasnt bad but I think only 1 person should do all the tightening because they have to be tightened equally and all the way down. After we got it put together which was around 30 minutes to do because we had to make sure all the pieces were there 1st.
It wouldnt be a good couch for someone realy tall or bigger than 250 lbs because there is a 750 lbs max capacity but Im sure it would be fine for 2 people to sit on it. If you put 3 bigger people on it, then Im sure you will end up breaking it in the middle underneath where you put it together. Im around 200lbs and my girlfriend is 140lbs. I dont just jump on it hard and it seems to be good for us.
Other than that it is a very nice couch and very soft but supportive when you are sitting watching tv or a good movie.
If your not jumping on it and treat it nice then I think the couch will last for years if taken care of. Love it
