First, the bed is not white. It is an off white color, so it did not match the bedroom furniture as we were hoping. Secondly, the directions say not to use power tools (because the screws are cheap and will strip easily, as I found out), but the holes in the frame were so poorly threaded that an impact drill was required. Thirdly, several pieces of the bed showed up with rust spots. Lastly, now that the kids have been using it for a couple months, it squeaks terribly every time someone moves during the night.
