I got this chair in 2020, so for most of that time it was an ok chair. first we found that there were missing bolts, then the padding in the seat back started to wear out, I put a pillow behind me to fix that. Then the seat padding started going, so again an old pillow. Then the springs in the seat popped. At this point I sent an email asking if I could get a new seat section to replace the broken 1,(not asking for a free 1, just asking to buy it), STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE,
So my experience with this chair is 50/50 and for 400ish it should have lasted longer
(After my post I was finally contacted by their customer service. I now have a new seat for the chair. It was a confusing process but I am now able to use the chair for at least a few more years.) ok value for the money
