1st, Ill say that the umbrella is beautiful. The quality seems to be very good. I had left it opened in wind and I had it open in rain. The rain did not leak through like others said and I have not sprayed it with any kind of water repellent. I do have it in a 50lb water filled base holding the Umbria in place. The umbrella is bigger than normal but my wife or I had no problem cranking it open. I think we are going to really like this. Very good quality. In the one photo you may see a rechargeable led light which i have attached to the umbrella base pole. That was a separate purchase. Umbrella base lights are also available on .
