You have to disassemble it to move it out of a room.
First, the good:
This bed is attractive and sturdy. My girls (5 8) love how it looks. Its solid, I can lay in the bottom with no problems (I weigh 180). It doesnt feel like it isnt secure.
Now the bad:
Its tedious to assemble. Lots of pieces and parts. Working with the supplied allen wrench was not a lot of fun. This also means taking it apart is not fun either, and if you ever want to move it out of the room you built it in, it requires a ton of disassembly. That is my one real complaint. The bed assembled isnt fitting through most of any bedroom doors, and there is no disconnect in the middle to break it in half for moving it. You pretty much have to take it apart and reassemble it. As long as you dont need to move it, no big deal. But if you dothen its another story.
Mine also came with one end dented. It was the side toward the wall so we used it as it. Still, disappointing to get damaged pieces. Quality of is very good other than this issue.
