Nice fit and finish. I think it would be faster to go out into the forest, cut down a tree, mill it into lumber and then build bunk beds. WAY too many little pieces to save on shipping and manufacturing costs. Im a builder by trade and found it unnecessarily time consuming to put together. Nice product once assembled with good storage and has held up well though Sturdy and nice
