We picked this bed because we have a small space. Dimensions are very accurate.
1.Double check were the air vents are, solid sides limit where we can actually put the bed and we will be only using one drawer due to the vent.
2.the drawers the are on rollers on the floor/ doesnt work great on semi shag carpets
3. Mattress size for top 6 and we got 6 inch for bottom (up to a 10 in is probably fine). 6inch Works great and doesnt cut into ladder. There is a few inches of a gap with the mattress if it is up against the wall you have a few inches from the ladder or bring mattress forward and you have a gap in back of the bed.
4. All parts were there some labeled differently but worked out having all pieces. Missing only two screws for the ladder and we ended up with extra long screws that did not work for ladder. Top bunk slats really should be painted espresso just ugly to look up at.
5. Only piece that is not super sturdy is the top bunk safety. It really should be attached to the side but like having the option to put ladder on one side or other. This product was exactly what I was hoping for
