My 18 year old and I put this together in less than an hour. Directions are pretty straight forward. All packaging was labeled well with an extra spare for each item. I suggest you only open the label package as it is needed in the building process.
The desk itself is sturdy and esthetically pleasing. The only caveat are the base for the drawers. They will hold pens, paper clips and such but dont expect it to hold heavy objects. Im sure the bottom of the drawers will wear and collapse over time if you place heavy objects. Overall, I am very happy with my new desk.
