Found this bunk bed and bought it because our 5, and 3 year old needed a bigger bed but their room is small. I was surprised when it came four days after I ordered it, the assembly wasnt too bad. My husband and I put it together in just a few hours. My boys love it so its served a good purpose. Theyre in a bigger bed that should last them several years.
Cons, the is light and probably not meant for heavier kids/young adults. The top bunk is 200 lbs and the bottom is 250 but when you start to apply pressure to the rods they do how slightly. For my boys who are 56 and 38 pounds its fine.
The other thing is the bars are locked into place by small plastic clips, we broke two trying to get them in and there was only one extra to replace them. I would have liked to see it come with extra pieces for that and the plastic rods that go down the middle.
Otherwise this is a good bed for the price. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
