I love this bookshelf. The backing is really nice. Instead of one thin folding back that you have to carefully line up and nail in all over, this one is in slats. The back of the shelf has grooves that the slates come down into with and extra divider that gives it more support, and there are additional nails for the back for even more support for the back wall.
