Amazing how nice this was for the money! The brown was a nice deep espresso color, just what I wanted. Storage area is huge. The perfect height if you like to keep your feet up when relaxing (You don't need to but I use a throw on top to protect the and prevent indents from my heels). When we have company I put a tray on top and it serves as a coffee table to hold drinks and snacks. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the small coin sized sliders on bottom with larger magic sliders so it glides easier.
