Its easy enough to assemble by yourself. Everything fits into the headboard which is pretty nice. Its very quiet which is important to me as any squeaking will wake me up. The storage space under the bed is pretty short, I was able to fit some rubbermaid tubs underneath without the lid as the lid was just an inch too high.
