Relatively easy assembly even though the instructions have mistakes and dont provide details. Is pretty solid when assembled. The s with hook loop hold/down is handy after understanding how to install them. When we tried placing a new king size memory foam mattress on it, the frame dimensions were less than then the mattress. Being foam, we tucked the sides and ends of the mattress into the frame edges. Makes sheet installation a little more difficult, not severe. Since dimensions of foam mattresses varies, and framed ones usually dont, I suspect the bed frame would work OK for framed mattresses.
