I LOVE this! Easy to install - but with so many parts to connect, its easy to get it wrong. So - have the directions handy! (Unlike me, who lost them, had to wing it, and messed up twice - with completely fixable results.) Not a bad idea to have a wrench handy - but I mostly used it to remove the old showerhead, and to loosen parts I had already attached.
Just moved into a new apartment, and the existing showerhead was pretty gross. I bought this along with an AquaBliss filter (because I love city living but I hate city water!) and installed them together.
I managed to lose the directions, because of course I was SO excited to open it up - but realized I might want a wrench handy so I waited until I could find my tools before I tackled the install.
Installation is not hard - but there are a lot of pieces to connect, and while its pretty straightforward and mostly obvious - its still possible to put the wrong bits in the wrong spots and still have it work but not optimally. I managed to do this twice
At first I had attached the hose on the handheld the opposite of how its meant to go - which meant that the handheld would not sit securely in the holder. Thankfully I assumed Id done something dumb and looked at pictures to figure out where I went wrong.
Theres also a piece that you attach to the base of the handheld that you can twist to adjust the water flow. This is AWESOME, and - its physically possible to install it anywhere. So, naturally I put it in the wrong place at first.
I shared pictures of my progress on Facebook and already have three friends who are buying one! This thing is LUXURIOUS, and Im so glad I purchased it.
