This was purchased for a spare bedroom. It was somewhat simple to assemble other than the big bolt that holds the back of the chair in. The back is ok without the bolt which would not go in . If it was going to be used a lot the bolt would need to be in. The color specified when it arrived it was a light off white. It is lovely in the corner I wanted it for: its not super comfortable(too firm), more of a challenge than I thought it would be to assemble and the color was not exactly right . As I stated it would not be good in a room where it was used. Its almost perfect for my spare bedroom and will have very little use.
