This is a very pretty chair and it will suit my purposes just fine. The reason I am giving it only 4 stars is due to comfort and perceived longevity. I do not see this chair being an everyday chair in a living room or study with daily use as it is on the cheaper side. That is okay for me as it will be in my bedroom as a spot to read and relax off and on without any children or pets being on it. I do think it could be softer but am hoping it softens up over time as it is pretty hard on the seat and back. I know I didnt buy a Ly/Boy or another high end recliner brand, so I give it 4 stars for being that I got what I expected in that price range and it will serve my purposes.
Another note to other buyers, unbox it in garage or outside and bring the pieces inside to assemble it in place. It is heavy, and I did receive a flattened, dead mouse stuff inside or outside the box that I am sure happened during shipping. I cant see how this is the manufacturers fault.
