So our regular king size mattress goes on this frame.and then there is about eight extra inches of length in the frame between the bottom of the mattress and the foot board. Like it would really fit a king extra/long mattress. It definitely is a weird and imperfect look.
However if you can get past that, it is a great bed frame.
