Fits in perfectly with the decor. Love the modern look and simplicity. Laminate chips and it is clear that it is not marble or even close when up close. Might replace the top with my own marble slab to fix the problem - and the stand is sturdy enough to hold it. Saw the same style as a credenza at a swanky Beverly Hills hotel so felt that I did not sacrifice quality for appearance.
